Advisory Council

Representatives and partner organizations from the eye health community are invited to join. Members of The Advisory Council will  be asked to provide advice and feedback to The Foundation Board of Directors via e-mail 2-3 times per year.  Members are also invited to participate in our regular surveys here.

The purpose of the Advisory Council of The Foundation for Eye Health Awareness is to provide advice and feedback to the Board of the Foundation on its directions, programs, and services as they affect the eye health community and the public.

The objectives of the Advisory Council are:

  • to act as a resource to the Board of Directors on planning, implementation and evaluation of the Foundation’s services and activities.
  • to serve as a formal mechanism to exchange ideas and concerns related to the Foundation, as  identified by Council members and their constituents.
  • to serve as a communications vehicle to the eye health community on the work and plans of the Foundation and its impact on this community and the public.
